TULSA, Okla. — Rising country music star and Army veteran Scotty Hasting is bringing his powerful storytelling to Track 5. in Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Saturday, Aug. 30, at 9 p.m.
The show is free and open to the public ages 21 and up.
A former Army infantryman and Purple Heart recipient, Hasting transformed his life after picking up a guitar for the first time in 2020. He quickly stepped into the country music scene, signing with Black River Entertainment in 2023.
His debut single, “How Do You Choose,” marked the beginning of his promising career and set the tone for his patriotic catalog. The Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky native has since released his EP, “I’m America,” along with hits like “Til the Last Shot’s Fired,” “How Do You Choose” and “Pro Beer.”
His successful debut has been praised by Billboard and People Magazine, and he has opened for several music icons, including Lee Brice, Dave Grohl and Jelly Roll. Hasting also performed at the D-Day 80th anniversary in Normandy, France, and made his Grand Ole Opry debut during the 30 years of Forrest Gump celebration.
In 2025, Hasting honored our nation’s fallen heroes with his debut national television performance during the National Memorial Day Concert on PBS and the National Memorial Day Parade. His latest release, “Scars,” penned alongside Daniel Ethridge and Cole Phillips, lays bare a powerful testament to grit, resilience and survival. With raw honesty, he walks listeners through the physical and emotional scars he’s carried, including the bullets he took while serving in Afghanistan. He doesn’t shy away from the pain. He owns it. He’s not afraid of scars.
Now on a mission to help others find healing through music, Hasting continues to inspire audiences nationwide. For more information, please visit scottyhasting.com.
