TULSA, Okla. Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa will welcome “American Soldier: A Tribute to Toby Keith” at 9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, at Track 5., inside the casino.

Texas recording artist DeWayne Terry brings the passion, power and patriotism of Toby Keith to life in “American Soldier: A Tribute to Toby Keith,” the nation’s top Toby Keith tribute experience. Known for his uncanny resemblance and authentic sound, Terry delivers a heartfelt performance that celebrates the late country legend’s music, character and love of country.

Born in Chandler and raised on a red dirt road, Terry’s musical journey began early — singing in church and school plays by the time he was 7 years old. His mother’s love for classic country and gospel shaped his earliest influences, and by the time he was 10, he was playing hymns and Hank Williams songs on a Sears and Roebuck guitar. Drawn to artists like Merle Haggard, Buck Owens and George Strait, Terry’s Oklahoma roots and natural country baritone set the stage for a lifelong music career.

After high school, Terry balanced a career in aerospace with his growing passion for performing, playing in clubs across Tulsa before chasing his Nashville dreams. His musical path led him to the West Coast and then back to Nashville, where he honed his craft as a songwriter and performer. He later appeared on the inaugural season of “Nashville Star” and went on to record and produce his own music, releasing three successful singles to Texas radio.

Over the years, fans and friends noticed Terry’s striking resemblance to Toby Keith — in both looks and sound. When the opportunity arose to join the acclaimed band Left of Centre, the longtime house band for Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill, Terry accepted the challenge. Together, they created “American Soldier,” a tribute honoring Toby Keith’s music and his enduring legacy as a proud American and country music icon.

The show is free to those 21 and older.
