TUNICA, Miss. — Gold Strike Casino Resort, the Mid-South’s premier casino resort destination, will host multiplatinum alternative rock band Our Lady Peace at 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, at Gold Strike Theatre inside the casino.
One of Canada’s most influential rock bands, Our Lady Peace has helped define the alternative rock genre for more than 30 years. Formed in 1992, the group achieved global success with iconic hits like “Superman’s Dead,” “Clumsy” and “Somewhere Out There,” selling more than 5 million albums worldwide and earning more than 360 million streams. Among an elite group of just 13 Music Canada Diamond-certified artists, the band has three triple-platinum and five double-platinum certifications.
Our Lady Peace scored 19 Top 10 radio hits in Canada, including five No. 1 singles, receiving widespread industry recognition with four JUNO Awards and 10 MuchMusic Video Awards — ranking them among the most awarded artists in MMVA history. Over the years, they have toured extensively, sharing the stage with legendary acts such as The Rolling Stones, Guns N’ Roses, Smashing Pumpkins, Foo Fighters and Alanis Morissette.
