ROLAND, Okla. — Cherokee Casino & Hotel Roland is saying goodbye to 2024 and ringing in the New Year with cash drawings and some of country’s biggest up-and-comers as Drake White takes over Lee Creek Tavern along with Bart Crow on Tuesday, Dec. 31.
The event is free and open to the public, and guests must be 21 or older to attend.
Bart Crow kicks off the festivities in Lee Creek Tavern at 8 p.m. Born and raised in Maypearl, Texas, Crow made his first attempts to write songs while in the U.S. Army and started first performing live as a student at Tarleton State University. Mixing red dirt, Texas country and Americana, he’s charted six No. 1 singles – one of which, “Wear My Ring,” sold over 165,000 copies. In total, he’s sold over 40,000 albums and released eight records, including “Dandelion.” He’s also been cheered in Country Weekly, on CMT and named one of Rolling Stone’s “Artists You Need to Know.”
Drake White will hit the stage at 10:30 p.m. White grew up singing in his church’s youth choir in Alabama before becoming one of country music’s most spirited innovators, earning four Top 40 hits and traveling the country on multiple nationwide tours. White is known for songs like “Simple Life,” “Pieces,” “Stars,” “Power of a Woman” and “Giants” and has performed with superstars like Luke Bryan, Eric Church and the Zac Brown Band. He’s also received accolades, including Rolling Stone’s “10 Country Artists You Need to Know,” Grammy’s “Artist of Tomorrow” and the British CMA Awards’ “International Song of the Year.”
Cash drawings get started on Dec. 28 with $10,000 Blackjack drawings on the half-hour from 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. for $1,000 and $2,000 at 10:30p.m. and 11:30 p.m. On Dec. 31, cash drawings begin hourly from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. with $1,000 given away each hour. At 12:30 a.m., one winning ticket will be drawn for someone to take home a 2024 Ford Expedition.
Guests can begin earning entries now through Dec. 31.
