FORT GIBSON, Okla. — Cherokee Casino Fort Gibson will welcome country baritone Ray Scott at 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, at 3 Rivers Tavern inside the casino.
Known for his sharp wit and traditional country sound, Scott has built a following with music that embraces the spirit of “outlaw country.”
The North Carolina native draws inspiration from classic country storytellers, delivering a mix of honky-tonk favorites, heartfelt ballads and humorous songs that reflect his distinctive style.
Scott first gained national attention with his 2005 debut album, “My Kind of Music,” whose title track reached the Top 40 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. He has continued to release music independently and through record labels, earning fans with songs including “Drinkin’ Beer,” “Ain’t Always Thirsty” and “Those Jeans,” which sold more than 300,000 singles. The Grand Ole Opry has welcomed him 66 times.
Also an accomplished songwriter, Scott has had songs recorded by country artists Trace Adkins, Randy Travis and Clay Walker.
Throughout his career, he has remained committed to traditional country music, prioritizing authentic storytelling and an individual sound over changing industry trends.
The show is free to those 21 and older.
