TULSA, Okla. Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa welcomes ’90s country trailblazer Rick Trevino at 9 p.m. on Friday, April 18, at Track 5. inside the casino.

Rick Trevino rose to fame in the mid-1990s, becoming one of the first Hispanic artists to achieve mainstream success in country music since the legends Freddy Fender and Johnny Rodriguez. Inspired by diverse musical influences, from Tejano to classical piano and rock icons like Elton John and Billy Joel, Trevino quickly made his mark with a distinctive sound, blending traditional country, new country and album rock.

Trevino launched his career with the groundbreaking 1993 album “Dos Mundos,” notable for the single "Just Enough Rope," the first traditional country song released in English, Spanish and a bilingual version. In 1994, he continued this momentum with his self-titled album, delivering hits such as "Honky Tonk Crowd," "She Can't Say I Didn't Cry" and "Doctor Time," all achieving significant chart success and solidifying his presence in the country music world.

His follow-up album, “Looking for the Light” (1995), yielded another Top 10 hit, "Bobbie Ann Mason," further demonstrating his ability to resonate with audiences. Trevino's career continued to evolve with subsequent albums like “Learning as You Go” (1996), “Changing in Your Eyes” (1998), and “Mi Son” (2001), each contributing to his respected legacy within the industry.

Tickets are free to those 21 and up.
