TULSA, Okla. – Since 2012, Cherokee Nation Strategic Programs (CNSP), a Cherokee Federal company, has served as the prime contractor for the Defense Health Agency (DHA) on a $50 million Armed Forces Health Surveillance Division (AFHSD) Comprehensive Health Surveillance contract.
Recently, CNSP senior managers interviewed key personnel within the DHA to evaluate their satisfaction level in seven customer service categories. The interviews were done as part of Cherokee’s Voice of the Customer program, an initiative to monitor, assess and improve customer support to federal clients. CNSP received a 9 out of 10 in each of the seven categories.
“Providing exceptional support to our customers is a top priority, and the Voice of the Customer program helps us monitor our performance in key areas,” says Jeffrey Cummings, senior program manager at CNSP. “We have cultivated a highly skilled team for this contract and the feedback from the DHA confirms that we continue to deliver the critical support they need.”
In addition to providing operational and administrative support, CNSP’s team of health professionals and information technology experts functions as a clearinghouse for biosurveillance information, provides integral support to the Surveillance Methods and Standards working group and serves as subject matter experts in epidemiology for biosurveillance initiatives.
The government customer issued gratitude for the CNSP team’s ongoing efforts. “I appreciate what you’ve done, and I appreciate what you will do,” said Patrick Kennedy, AFHSD’s chief Air Force Colonel.
