Cherokee Nation celebrates the life and photography of Jennie Ross Cobb

The Cherokee National History Museum is celebrating the life and photography of Cherokee Nation citizen Jennie Ross Cobb in a new exhibit opening Oct. 13. Cobb was the great-granddaughter of Principal Chief John Ross and took up photography while she was a student at the Cherokee National Female Seminary in Tahlequah.


Cherokee Nation Businesses helps preserve traditional plants

The cultural art department at Cherokee Nation Businesses is tasked with helping ensure that Cherokee art, culture, language and customs are preserved, promoted and implemented throughout Cherokee Nation. The team can now add traditional medicine plants to their preservation list.
