TAHLEQUAH, Okla. – Cherokee Nation Foundation is continuing its efforts to help students prepare for the national ACT exam with updated and expanded strategies offered through a virtual workshop on Nov. 25 from 12:30 to 3 p.m.

CNF has partnered with Shelly Beaty from Testing With Success for several years to help prepare students for success on test day. The workshops are available to all Native students in grades 9-12, with preference given to Cherokee Nation citizens.

“These workshops have provided an invaluable resource for our students,” said Janice Randall, executive director of CNF. “As these national exams evolve over time, it is important that we are updating our approach and preparing them to the best of our abilities. We are so thankful to Shelly for her dedication to her craft and her passion for sharing her expertise with Native youth.”

Updated materials and copyrighted strategies are provided to participating students, as well as guided practice over all four academic areas and two customized practice exams. Students who complete the workshop also benefit from email access to the testing specialist for up to one year following the exam for additional support, resources and individual instruction.

Participants will receive an email prior to the course with information on accessing the workshop, including passcodes and workshop materials.

The deadline to register is Thursday, Nov. 23 at www.CherokeeNationFoundation.org
