Cherokee Nation leaders are gathering to celebrate Pride Month in the Cherokee Nation. During the celebration, Principal Chief Chuck Hoskin Jr. will announce a new executive order.

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. – The Cherokee Nation will gather to celebrate Pride Month at the Wilma P. Mankiller Cherokee Capitol Park, where Chief Hoskin will announce a new executive order.
The executive order will implement recommendations from the tribe’s 2024 Pride Report which examined 2SLGBTQ+ access to programs and governmental policies.
