TULSA, Okla. — Glam metal is alive and well at Hard Rock Live as ‘80s rock legends Warrant teams up with Lita Ford to bring the “Let the Good Times Rock” Tour inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa on Thursday, May 1, at 8 p.m.

Tickets start at $39.50 and go on sale Dec. 20.

Warrant was founded in 1983 by Erik Turner and Jerry Dixon when they were just 19 and 16 years old, respectively. Four years later, they were joined by Jani Lane, Steven Sweet and Joey Allen in 1987. Over the course of their career, Warrant has sold over 10 million albums worldwide, with the song “Cherry Pie” taking on a pop culture life of its own, being featured in countless movies, TV shows and commercials. The band’s signature style of rock music is also immortalized in hits like “Heaven,” “Sometimes She Cries,” “Uncle Tom’s Cabin” and “I Saw Red.”

Lita Ford’s career began in 1975 as a founding member and guitarist of the groundbreaking, all-female group the Runaways. The group’s hard rock and punk edge spawned hits like “Cherry Bomb” and “Queens of Noise.” In 1983, Ford launched her solo career where she saw a Grammy nomination for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance for her sophomore release “Dancin’ on the Edge.” In 1988, she released “Lita,” which featured four charting singles: “Back to the Cave,” “Falling In and Out of Love,” “Kiss Me Deadly” and “Close My Eyes Forever.” Since then, she’s solidified herself in rock history with numerous lifetime achievement awards, including the Guitar Player Hall of Fame.
