TUNICA, Miss. — Grammy-nominated Beatles tribute band, the WannaBeatles, arrive at the Gold Strike Theatre inside Gold Strike Casino Resort for a performance to remember on Friday, May 23, at 8 p.m.
Tickets start at $19.50 and go on sale Jan. 24.
The WannaBeatles are known for delivering a crowd-pleasing, variety-styled show and a very different kind of Beatles experience. Using their impressive multi-instrumental skills, they re-create all eras of the Beatles songbook as well as hits by other top artists from the ‘60s and ‘70s. Comprised of two-time Grammy-winning producer Dennis Scott on guitar, harmonica and vocals; musical arranger Nathan Burbank on bass, keys and vocals; Cuban-born David Toledo on drums, percussion and vocals; and the group’s newest member Quinten Bianchi on guitars, saxophone, EWI (electronic wind instrument) and vocals, the WannaBeatles will wow you with their showmanship, humor, onstage antics and original material.
Accolades for the WannaBeatles include a Grammy nomination for “Fab Fan Memories – The Beatles Bond,” national appearances on network television, a one-of-a-kind Ed Sullivan live-to-video re-creation, a viral music video for “We Want to Meet Paul” and the composition of “The Betty White Song” for Betty White’s birthday – endorsed by Betty, herself.
