TULSA, Okla. - Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa will welcome Texas country artist Grant Gilbert to the Track 5. stage at 9 p.m. on Friday, June 21.
The live show is free to the public ages 21 and up.
Gilbert's performance follows the much-anticipated release of his newest single, "Drunk Since Dallas," his second-single in 2024 after the release of "Turn It Down," featuring Ashland Craft. Gilbert's popularity continued to grow since his 2023 album, "Between the Highways," which featured his first No. 1 Texas Regional Radio Chart single, "Six Pack State of Mind," featuring Josh Abbott.
From Santo, Texas, Gilbert grew up on a cattle ranch listening to Texas country greats such as Pat Green, Randy Rogers Band and other red dirt artists like Stoney LaRue. Gilbert was also influenced by everything from his grandparents' swing and fiddle tunes to his dad's affinity for Springsteen, Tom Petty and 1980s country. While cut from Texas country cloth, Gilbert's music reflects a stryle of his own design, merging rock and country with catchy melodies. Also, reflecting his roots, Gilbert's music offers a fresh perspective on songwriting that centers on small-town storytelling.
Gilbert first became involved in Lubbock's vibrant country music scene while a student at Texas Tech University. Following college, he began working in Nashville as a songwriter, collaborating with hit writers like Brad Clawson, Jessie Jo Dillon and Dan Isbell while recording with producer and songwriter Jonathan Singleton. His tracks "She Goes Home (Dirty Breakup Song)," "God & Everybody" and "What's Stopping Us" have racked up over 3 million streams to date on Spotify alone.
