TULSA, Okla. — One of the most influential and beloved bands in Latin music history, La Mafia, is bringing their “45 Anniversary Tour” to the stage at Hard Rock Live inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa on Saturday, Nov. 1, at 9 p.m.
Tickets start at $49.50 and go on sale June 20.
With a career spanning over four decades, La Mafia is one of the most critically acclaimed Tejano, Norteño and international groups that started out as a small, local act in Houston in 1980. Since then, the group has pioneered the Latin scene and become a household name among generations.
Their unique style transcends boundaries, blending various genres like rock, reggae, pop and traditional Latin to deliver sounds for all audiences. With legendary hits like “Me Estoy Enamorando” and “Vida,” the group has been instrumental in shaping the sound and growth of Tejano music.
As the first Tejano group to ever boast a platinum album, La Mafia has earned five Grammy Awards for hits like “Un Millón de Rosas” (1997) and “En Tus Pueblo” (1998), along with albums “Para El Pueblo” (2005), “Nuevamente” (2006) and “Live in Mexico” (2020).
