The Alan Parsons Live Project, features famed producer, audio engineer, musician and composer Alan Parsons. Originally billed alongside singer, songwriter and pianist Eric Woolfson, The Alan Parsons Live Project features Parsons along with supporting band members.

Parsons’ background as an audio engineer has been a cornerstone of the band’s hypersonic progressive rock sound. Parsons was an engineer at Abbey Road Studios, where he worked with The Beatles on their albums “Abbey Road” and “Let It Be” and served as an engineer for the legendary Pink Floyd album “Dark Side of the Moon,” laying the foundation for his unique approach to sound and music production.

Parsons formed The Alan Parsons Project with Woolfson in 1975, and the band quickly rose to prominence with their innovative use of studio technology and conceptual approach to album-making. Their debut album, “Tales of Mystery and Imagination,” inspired by the works of Edgar Allan Poe, set the stage for a career marked by musical innovation and critical acclaim.

The band’s hits, including “Eye in the Sky,” “Games People Play” and “Don’t Answer Me,” have become staples of classic rock radio. Their innovative use of technology and conceptual approach to album-making set them apart in the music industry, earning a Grammy win for Best Immersive Audio Album in 2019. Parsons continues to be recognized for his contributions to music. Not only has he received 11 Grammy nominations, he was also the recipient of the 1995 Les Paul Award and the 2012 Diva Hall of Fame Lifetime Achievement Award in Munich, Germany.
