TULSA, Okla. — Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa will welcome the smoldering sound of one of country music’s most iconic artists, Gary Allan, as he celebrates 30 years of hits at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, at Hard Rock Live inside the casino.
Known for his gritty vocals, authentic songwriting and electrifying live performances, Allan has built one of country music's most enduring careers while staying true to his distinctive style. The California native has released nine studio albums, sold more than 8 million albums worldwide and earned three consecutive platinum certifications along with five gold certifications.
Throughout his career, Allan has amassed an impressive catalog of hits, including five No. 1 singles and 14 Top 10 songs on country radio. His music has also generated more than 2.8 billion streams, while four of his albums debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart. His album “Set You Free” also reached the top spot on the Billboard 200, marking a career milestone.
His No. 1 hits include “Man to Man,” “Tough Little Boys,” “Nothing On but the Radio” and “Every Storm (Runs Out of Rain).” Other fan favorites and instant classics include “Smoke Rings in the Dark,” “Best I Ever Had,” “Watching Airplanes” and “Songs About Rain.” Rolling Stone named his latest album, “Ruthless,” one of the best country albums of 2021.
Born in California, Allan grew up playing honky tonks with his father as early as age 13. After recording a demo, Allan unknowingly left a tape in the glove box of a car he sold. The buyers discovered it and offered to fund more of his recordings. He signed with Decca Records in 1995, recording the standout debut album “Used Heart for Sale.”
Praised by critics for his unmistakable sound and artistic authenticity, Allan has earned accolades from publications including Entertainment Weekly, Playboy and Rolling Stone. His reputation as a dynamic live performer has helped him sell out venues across the country.
Tickets start at $89.50 and go on sale July 24.
