TULSA, Okla.  — Known to fans simply as “BTO,” Canadian rock band Bachman-Turner Overdrive is bringing its “No Speed Limit 2027” tour to Hard Rock Live inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa on Friday, March 12, 2027, at 8 p.m.

Tickets start at $49.50 and go on sale Oct. 30.

Bachman-Turner Overdrive rose to prominence in the 1970s with a hard-driving sound and a string of hits. While soft rock ruled the Top 40, BTO stuck with guitar-heavy rock ’n’ roll. Its best-known songs include classic rock staples “Takin’ Care of Business,” “You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet,” “Let It Ride,” “Hey You” and “Roll on Down the Highway.”

The band’s roots go back to 1971 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, where brothers Randy, Robbie and Tim Bachman joined their friend Fred Turner to form Brave Belt. The group later became Bachman-Turner Overdrive and released its first album in 1973. In its first year as BTO, the band logged more than 300 tour dates.

The 1974 album, “Not Fragile,” reached No. 1 on the U.S. album chart and produced the band’s only No. 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100, “You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet.” BTO’s energetic sound led to an international following, from Sweden and Australia to New Zealand and South Africa. The band’s gear-shaped logo even gave fans their nickname: “gearheads.”

BTO has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide and earned five gold albums in the U.S. and six platinum albums in Canada. The band’s 1970s catalog includes five Top 40 albums in the U.S. and 11 Top 40 singles in Canada, cementing its place in rock history.

Today, founding member Randy Bachman, formerly of the Guess Who, leads the lineup with his son Tal Bachman. After more than 50 years, BTO brings its show to Tulsa for gearheads and music lovers alike.
