WEST SILOAM SPRINGS, Okla. — Cherokee Casino & Hotel West Siloam Springs is answering the call and celebrating Halloween by going “Behind the Mask” for a night of costumes, entertainment and a special appearance from horror film favorite Skeet Ulrich. The party gets started at 9 p.m. in the Qualla Ballroom and features a live DJ, a photo booth and the return of the $6,000 costume contest.

Adding some big-screen screams to the night, guests will have the opportunity to meet Skeet Ulrich throughout the night from 9-11 p.m. Best known to horror fans for his role as Billy Loomis in the “Scream” franchise, Ulrich’s credits also include “The Craft,” “Riverdale,” “As Good as It Gets” and “Jericho,” among others.

DJ TZ kicks off the party on the turntables in the Qualla Ballroom at 9 p.m. The party will include dancing, a photo booth for guests to capture costumes and a cash bar featuring specialty drinks.

For guests ready to put their costumes to the test, $6,000 in prizes is up for grabs. Contest registration begins at 9 p.m. Guests must be registered by 11 p.m. to be considered. The top five contestants will be announced at midnight with first place taking home $2,500, followed by $1,500 for second place and $1,000 for third. Fourth- and fifth-place winners will each receive $500 in Status+ Rewards play.

All contestants are surveyed prior to the start and informed if they need to remove any part of their costume that may disqualify them. Guests are reminded that costume masks, full-face paint, hats and hoodies are not allowed outside the designated area of the Qualla Ballroom. No costume weapons, nudity or implied nudity is allowed. Entrance to the party is free, and guests must be 21 or older.
