TULSA, Okla. — The inaugural class of Women to KNOW in Oklahoma has been named. Among the 2026 honorees is Cherokee Nation Businesses’ Chief Economist Tralynna Scott.

Women to KNOW is a distinction reserved for women who are shaping the future of business, leadership and communities. It is a statewide recognition that includes individual features of all 50 honorees in a hardcover publication.

“Tralynna is especially deserving of this honor as she serves a vital role on behalf of our tribal government while also working to ensure the financial success and growth of the tribe’s businesses, yet she still finds time to give to others,” said Cherokee Nation Businesses CEO Chuck Garrett. “She continues to demonstrate the dedication, commitment and expertise that are the hallmarks of true leadership.”

In addition to her role at CNB, Scott, who is a Cherokee Nation citizen, serves as the tribe’s Special Envoy to the United States Department of Treasury. She also holds positions on the IRS Advisory Council, the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis Center for Indian Country Development, the American Red Cross of Northeast Oklahoma Board and the Family & Children Services Board.

The Women to KNOW in Oklahoma class joins hundreds of successful women who have been recognized through the initiative. The honorees were recognized at a gala on Feb. 27 at The Montellano Event Center in Oklahoma City.

“When successful women are lifted up for their hard work and achievements, they inspire the next generation of female leaders,” said Founder and CEO of KNOW Women Sarah Benken Foushee.

Across the nation, Women to KNOW honorees, who are entrepreneurs, executives, philanthropists, innovators and more, redefine what it means to lead with vision and compassion. Each year, a panel of previous honorees and members from the community interview nominees and select the next class of Women to KNOW, who represent the highest standard of achievement, purpose and leadership.
