TULSA, Okla. – Cherokee Nation Government Solutions, a Cherokee Federal company, has been awarded a $99.3 million, five-and-a-half-year contract through a competitive small business set-aside under the SeaPort-NxG contract vehicle. The award will support the readiness of protective and life-support equipment that U.S. Navy Sailors depend on to perform their missions safely and effectively.

The company will support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) and fleet organizations worldwide, ensuring critical equipment is properly maintained, tested and ready when and where it's needed.

"When a Sailor's safety depends on the equipment we support, there's no room for error," said Tom Watson, president of Cherokee Federal. "Our team brings the technical skill and discipline to keep that equipment ready, wherever the fleet needs it. We are honored to have the opportunity to support this important mission to help keep our Sailors safe.”

The work supports the readiness and sustainment of critical equipment throughout its lifecycle, from inventory and maintenance to deployment and operational use. Cherokee Federal will provide integrated program management, logistics, asset sustainment, equipment inspection and repair, warehousing, kitting, distribution and global field support.

“This contract requires more than managing equipment. It requires the logistics, sustainment and operational expertise to ensure critical assets are ready when Sailors need them,” said Seth Wanger, executive general manager at Cherokee Nation Government Solutions. “Our team understands the demands of supporting fleet operations around the world, and we're proud to bring that experience to NSWC PCD and the Navy.”

The contract encompasses a broad range of mission-critical equipment, including chemical, biological and radiological defense equipment; personal protective equipment; damage-control and firefighting systems; anti-terrorism afloat systems; and life-support systems. Cherokee Federal will support the inspection, fitting, testing, repair, tracking and distribution processes required to keep these assets ready for operational use.

The award builds on Cherokee Federal’s experience supporting complex defense missions through integrated logistics, sustainment and operational services.
