Hard Rock’s “I Want My NYE” brings boy band mania back to Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. – Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa is saying “I Want My NYE” and bringing back the biggest midnight balloon drop in Tulsa on Dec. 31 with live performances from Drew Lachey, LFO, O-Town and ATCK. The event is free and open to the public, and guests must be 21 or older to attend.

The doors to Hard Rock Live open at 9 p.m. with performances beginning at 10:30 p.m. Drew Lachey is best known for being a member of pop group 98 Degrees with his brother, Nick, as well as Justin Jeffre and Jeff Timmons. He joins forces with LFO, known for their 1999 hit “Summer Girls,” and O-Town, who saw success in 2000 after forming from the first season of MTV’s “Making the Band.” Brandon Mashburn, aka DJ Lux, will represent ATCK and also join the party inside Hard Rock Live. Guests are encouraged to stay for the 16,000-balloon drop at midnight inside the venue.

Across the property in Track 5., guests are ringing in the New Year with DJ Morgan Ganem starting at 6 p.m. followed by live music from Paul Bogart, who takes the stage at 8 p.m. as part of the venue’s ‘90s Country Party. Guests can enjoy complimentary hats, horns and tiaras at both locations.

A lineup of disc jockeys is set to kick off at noon with DJ Queen Jesseen inside the Grand Lobby. Ayngel and John lead off festivities at Riff’s around 4:30 p.m., DJ TNice follows at 5:30 and Zodiac at 8:00. DJ Gus is opening Amp Bar at 7 p.m.

Guests can earn a chance to win a share of $100,000 cash and prizes every hour from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Dec. 31 and Jan. 1 as part of the “I Want My $100,000 NYE” cash drawings. To be eligible for the drawings, entrants must have at least one active rated play session or One Star Rewards card swipe at any kiosk within two hours of each drawing. Guests can begin earning entries now.
