Is adventure pedaling your bike down new roads? Is it exploring pine-covered running trails on foot? Is it hanging out around a bonfire and telling stories under the stars?
Whatever your definition of adventure, you can find it April 3 – 5 during the second annual Sequoyah Adventure Weekend at Sequoyah State Park in Hulbert, Oklahoma.
Sequoyah Adventure Weekend is a fun family event featuring camping, off-road cycling and trail running. The event offers cycling and running opportunities for all experience levels, including gravel rides ranging from 33 miles to 100 miles and trail runs from 5K to 25K, with various prizes up for grabs. There’s also a fun run for your little adventurers.
Sequoyah Adventure Weekend is organized by Big Wheel Events Inc., a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization that seeks to benefit and enrich the lives of people, especially disadvantaged, underprivileged and underrepresented people, by providing financial and other forms of support, especially where it pertains to cycling.
Sponsored in part by CNB, a portion of the profits from Sequoyah Adventure Weekend will be set aside to provide bicycles to Native American children.
