Contract supports science and research centers in the southeast region
TULSA, Okla. – Cherokee Nation Technologies announced today it has received a services support contract with the United States Geological Survey (USGS) that has the potential of reaching $45 million throughout multiple years.

The indefinite-delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract begins with a base-year and includes four one-year options, each with a ceiling of $9M.
The tribal company is providing research, data analysis, field and lab services, geographic information systems, programming and other services to the Florida-based Coastal and Marine Science Center, Southeast Ecological Science Center and Natural Wetlands Research Center.
CNT will also support the State Water Science Centers in Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Tennessee, Missouri and Alabama.
Initial task orders began July 1 in support of the National Wetlands Research Center. CNT is providing on- and off-site science and technical personnel to supplement mission resources.
