Cherokee Nation Principal Chief Chuck Hoskin Jr. and Deputy Chief Bryan Warner joined tribal leaders recently to honor four Cherokee citizens who helped with the initial archival research leading to a historic $80 million trust settlement with the U.S. government.

Cherokee Nation Principal Chief Chuck Hoskin Jr. and Deputy Chief Bryan Warner officially signed legislation February 13 setting aside the tribe’s $80 million settlement from the U.S. federal government to build new judicial facilities.

Cherokee Nation leaders delivered valentines to veterans at the Mige Glory veterans housing addition near the W. W. Keeler Tribal Complex this week.

The Cherokee Nation celebrated Thursday an investment of up to $8 million each in strategic partnerships with Mercy in Fort Smith, Arkansas, and the University of Oklahoma Health Stephenson Cancer Center in Tulsa.
