Gabriel Iglesias set to make Tulsa laugh on March 7

TULSA, Okla. – Gabriel Iglesias is one of today’s most popular stand-up comedians, continually touring the world and appearing in numerous hit television specials. On March 7, he will bring his act to The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa.

Tickets start at $45 and go on sale Feb. 6.

Iglesias’ stand-up comedy is a mixture of storytelling, parodies, characters and sound effects that bring all his personal experiences to life. His unique and animated comedy style has made him popular among fans of all ages.

In April 2013, Comedy Central premiered “Gabriel Iglesias: Aloha Fluffy” in an unprecedented two-hour comedy special airing over two consecutive weekends. “Gabriel Iglesias: Aloha Fluffy” is currently available on DVD and digital download. It follows in the footsteps of his highly successful first two DVD specials, “Hot & Fluffy” and “I’m Not Fat...I’m Fluffy” which have sold more than 1 million copies.

Iglesias’ television appearances include “Gabriel Iglesias Presents Stand-Up Revolution,” which premiered on Comedy Central in Oct. 2011 and was one of the highest rated stand-up series on the network. The series stars Iglesias, who hosted and performed stand-up material and featured an array of talented and diverse comedians that he personally selected. Season 3 of the popular series is set to air this spring.

He has appeared on every major talk show, including: “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “Conan,” “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.”

Iglesias appeared in 2012’s blockbuster film “Magic Mike,” co-starring alongside Channing Tatum and Matthew McConaughey. Tatum, a longtime fan of Iglesias personally sought him out for the role.
