TULSA, Okla. - Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa has been nominated for Casino of the Year – Small Capacity in the 53rd Annual Academy of Country Music Awards.
It is the third overall nomination for Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa and The Joint: Tulsa. Past Casino of the Year-Small Capacity nominations were earned in 2012 and 2013.
“We are honored to be recognized by the Academy of Country Music. Country music is deeply rooted and admired in our great state, and we are proud to be able to play a part in bringing it to The Joint: Tulsa,” said Martin Madewell, senior director of Marketing for Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa. “We are very fortunate to have such an inspired, dedicated staff that prides themselves on delivering memorable experiences to both our guests and entertainers.”

“We try to play Hard Rock Tulsa as often as we can. The venue is top notch, and the staff always treats us impeccably,” said country star Gary Allan. “It’s one of our favorite places to play.”
The Joint has hosted dozens of sold-out country performances in its eight years, including Reba, Blake Shelton, Tanya Tucker, Vince Gill, Dierks Bentley, Dolly Parton, Lady Antebellum, Glen Campbell, Big & Rich, Willie Nelson, Sheryl Crow, Little Big Town and Darius Rucker, to name a few.
“Hard Rock Tulsa gifted us a seamless production day, while offering hospitality far exceeding our needs in an environment of friendship and fun,” said Doug Larsson, Tour and Production Manager for Aaron Tippin and “Roots ‘n’ Boots.” “It’s my favorite casino stop of the year. I’m looking forward to our return.”
