Cherokee Nation Red Wing continuing support of US Armed Forces

PRYOR, Okla. - Cherokee Nation Red Wing is continuing its support of the U.S. Armed Forces through a three-year project with the U.S. Army.

CNRW, a company within the engineering and manufacturing sector of Cherokee Nation Businesses, is producing hardware for Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected All-Terrain Vehicles, also known as MRAP M-ATVs.

The more than $3 million contract with the Army is to produce Door Sill Bracket Kits, Expandable Kits and Durable Item Kits. The hardware will accommodate armored vehicles used by the Army in areas such as Iraq and Afghanistan.

Cherokee Nation Red Wing was formed in 2009 to provide quality employment opportunities for citizens of the Cherokee Nation within an organization that supports today’s warfighter through innovative and quality solutions with a focus on aviation and weapon systems life cycle support management, critical sustainment, reset and repair services.
