Tribally owned company ranks among largest 8(a) contractors

TULSA, Okla. – Cherokee Nation Technology Solutions landed in the 11th spot on Washington Technology’s 2017 list of the largest 25 8(a) contractors.

The list ranks top firms selling information technology, telecommunications and professional services to the federal government and is based on prime contracts awarded in 2016.

“Our reputation as a best-in-class company has allowed our diversified businesses to experience tremendous growth and has afforded us opportunities that continue to expand our partnership with the federal government,” said Steven Bilby, president of CNB’s diversified businesses. “We take great pride in seeing our team at CNTS, one of our fastest-growing companies, recognized and rewarded for consistently providing the highest caliber of service.”

The rankings were developed through analysis of fiscal year 2016 federal procurement data for product and service codes related to IT, telecommunications, and professional and engineering services. The companies are ranked by their total unclassified prime contracting dollars.

“CNTS is proud to be recognized as one of the top federal contractors,” said John Hansen, CNTS operations general manager. “At the heart of our continued success are our exceptional staff and our dedication to providing exemplary service to our clients.”
