‘Life’s a Dance’ country singer to play a free show at Cherokee Casino & Hotel Roland June 16
ROLAND, Okla. — With No. 1 hits like “I Love the Way You Love Me” and “Sold (The Grundy County Auction Incident),” John Michael Montgomery has sung his way to the top of the country music charts, making a lasting impression on country music lovers everywhere.
On June 16, Montgomery visits the Lee Creek Tavern stage inside Cherokee Casino & Hotel Roland to perform his nationally recognized hits for free to the crowd.
Montgomery takes the stage at 9 p.m. Local country music favorite Lyle Parman will close the show.
Releasing 11 studio albums since he was signed by Atlantic Records in 1992, Montgomery has produced 23 Top 20 hits, including the No. 1 songs “I Love the Way You Love Me,” “I Swear,” “Be My Baby Tonight” and “Sold (The Grundy County Auction Incident).”
In 2008, he sang duet vocals on the title track to country rapper Colt Ford’s debut album, “Ride Through the Country.” The newest version of the song, featuring Ronnie Dunn and Joe Diffie along with Montgomery, was released in October 2013.
Montgomery has released four RIAA certified platinum and gold albums. His 1994 record, “Kickin’ It Up,” and 1995’s self-titled album each certified RIAA quadruple platinum for earning sales of more than 4 million records.
