Country stars to perform at The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa
TULSA, Okla. — Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa is bringing some of country music’s biggest names to The Joint this summer with a concert series that includes Ronnie Milsap and Diamond Rio, Sara Evans, and Clint Black.
Tickets for each show start at $39 and go on sale May 25.
Ronnie Milsap and Diamond Rio kick off the series July 16 in an evening when both performers will take the stage. Sara Evans will perform July 20, and closing out the concert series on Aug. 5 is Clint Black.
Milsap is one of country music’s all-time biggest hit-makers with 40 No. 1 hits, to date. Among the country legend’s chart toppers are “It Was Almost Like a Song,” “Smoky Mountain Rain,” “There’s No Gettin’ Over Me,” “Any Day Now” and “Stranger in My House.”
He has released 28 studio albums and earned numerous awards, including six Grammys, eight CMA awards and six ACM awards. He was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2014. Diamond Rio broke onto the scene with 1991’s single “Meet in the Middle,” which made them the first band to hit No. 1 on the Billboard Country with a debut single.
The band has released nine studio albums and charted five No. 1 singles and numerous top five listings. Among their biggest hits are “How Your Love Makes Me Feel,” “One More Day,” “Beautiful Mess” and “I Believe.”
Since releasing her 1997 debut, “Three Chords and the Truth,” Evans has released eight studio albums that have included five No. 1 singles and numerous top 10 hits. Her chart-topping singles include “No Place That Far,” “Born to Fly,” “Suds in the Bucket,” “A Real Fine Place to Start” and “A Little Bit Stronger.”
Evans is slated to release her new album, “Words,” on July 21, which is the day after her performance at The Joint. Her ninth studio album marks her first release on her own label, Born to Fly Records.
Clint Black shot out of the gates with his 1989 debut, “Killin’ Time,” which featured five consecutive No. 1 singles. Overall, he has charted an impressive 22 No. 1 singles and sold more than 20 million albums.
Among Black’s biggest hits are “A Better Man,” “Where Are You Now,” “When My Ship Comes In,” “A Good Run of Bad Luck,” “Summer’s Comin’,” “Like the Rain” and “Nothin' But the Taillights.”
