Rock duo to perform at The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. — For more than four decades, Air Supply has been a staple of radio and continually toured the world. On Aug. 10, they will perform at The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa.

Tickets start at $35 and go on sale May 25.

Air Supply is comprised of founding members Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock, who met during a Sydney, Australia, production of “Jesus Christ Superstar.”

For the first few years of the band’s existence, Air Supply dominated the Australian music charts but failed to break through in the United States despite touring the country as an opener for Rod Stewart.

In 1979, the band released the single “Lost in Love,” which made it into the hands of legendary New York producer Clive Davis, who signed them to Arista Records. The song shot up the charts and Air Supply became a household name in the U.S.

Overall, Air Supply has released 18 studio albums, two live albums and 12 compilations that have sold more than 20 million albums worldwide. Their most recent studio release is 2010’s “Mumbo Jumbo.”

They have released 27 singles, including the hits “All Out of Love,” “Every Woman in the World,” “Here I Am,” “Sweet Dreams” and “Even the Nights Are Better.” In 2015, they released the single “I Adore You.”
