‘Julian Loves Music’ comes to Cherokee Casino & Hotel West Siloam Springs
WEST SILOAM SPRINGS, Okla. — In the grand showbiz tradition of using what works, writer, actor and stand-up comedian Julian McCullough has taken the hugely popular “Doug Loves Movies” podcast and created the brutally funny “Julian Loves Music.” On March 18, he brings a live podcast taping to the Qualla Ballroom stage inside Cherokee Casino & Hotel West Siloam Springs.
Doors open at 8 p.m. McCullough kicks off the comedy show at 9 p.m., and the live podcast taping with guest Karen Kilgariff will follow.
McCullough has appeared as a guest comic on several television shows, including “Comedy Central Presents,” “Conan,” “Larry King Now,” “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” E’s “Chelsea Lately,” the NPR series “This American Life” and the MTV series “Money From Strangers.”
The comedian has written as a contributor for MTV2’s “Guy Code” and has been a frequent round table guest on the E! series “Chelsea Lately” since 2012. McCullough has also appeared as the sidekick to Whitney Cummings on the talk show “Love You, Mean It with Whitney Cummings.”
McCullough guest starred on the former IFC series “Z Rock” in 2009. He also starred in his self-produced TV movie “Supermodel Moving Company” in 2010 and appeared as Nick on an episode of Whitney in 2012.
